What is book coaching?
With book coaching, you can expect your new writing BFF to show up for you with all the motivation and writing advice you need to get you to that finished manuscript, whether you are starting from the idea stage or you already have a few (or a few hundred) pages written. We will work together to help build a sustainable creative practice that not only fits in your busy schedule, but that feels nourishing and generative to the way you like to work and think.
We will work through big-picture issues in your story, ensuring compelling characters and plot lines and a structure that serves the story and your ideas. Along the way, I am your cheerleader, sounding board, and straight-talking friend, working with you to create the best work of your life. The idea is to make the hard work enjoyable while keeping you accountable.
Expect weekly check-ins, written feedback along the way, as well as strategy sessions.

Three-month coaching package: The second draft sprint
With this coaching package, we work through revisions to a previous draft to arrive at an upgraded version of your story.
You can expect biweekly video chats to go over big-picture issues in the draft and strategize revisions. There will be weekly page goals and you will receive written feedback. And if something comes up along the way? I’m only an email away!
This package requires a three-month commitment and has a rate of $1,500/month ($4,500 total).
Six-month coaching package: From idea to draft
With this coaching package, we work together for a period of six months to overcome procrastination and perfectionism, focusing on a finished first draft of your book idea.
You can have pages already written that need to be whipped into shape or you can come with just the idea. We will talk through structure, character, plotting strategies, and more on monthly video chats and through written feedback. During the week, you will have page goals to meet. And if something comes up along the way? I’m only an email away!
This package requires a six-month commitment and has a rate of $1,000/month ($6,000 total).
